Shape the session: What challenges do you face with your teams or yourself, regarding continuous learning and mindset change? Send us your questions below or via email by 16 March! We will collect them, and debate and answer them in the session.
While many leaders and organizations are serious about pursuing learning opportunities, they still lag in implementing this learning effectively. Formal trainings are attended, people are sent to workshops, but what is the change in performance? What is the ROI of these events?
Learning is not a “one-off” activity. It is not attending a formal training or seeking that special MBA that will be the solution to improving career prospects. We have long moved from traditional class-room learning to blended learning, and are now entering a fully digital world. While this expands learning opportunities to virtually anywhere, it is how we apply those experiences, un-learn, and re-learn that changes behaviors and performance.
In addition, learning cannot be limited to leaders. Leaders are at the forefront and drive learning to pervade the entire organization by creating an active learning culture: a desire to adapt, learn from failure, improve performance, and drive innovation.
- How do you implement what you learn? What essential strategies facilitate turning knowledge into new behaviors?
- Why does learning at the workplace often fail?
- How does an organization instill a growth mindset in their employees?
- How do you create a learning culture for the improvement of your organization and yourself, without disrupting efficiency?
Dr. Pari Namazie and Dr. Barbara Covarrubias-Venegas will present latest research on the future of corporate learning and introduce essential learning strategies for leaders and organizations.
